WEEK4-RFID INTERFACE

WHAT I LEARN

RFID-
Short for radio frequency identification, a technology similar in theory to bar code identification. With RFID, the electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the RF portion of the electromagnetic spectrum is used to transmit signals. An RFID system consists of an antenna and a transceiver, which read the radio frequency and transfer the information to a processing device, and a transponder, or tag, which is an integrated circuit containing the RF circuitry and information to be transmitted.
*far away from metal
*close to the surface
*unique number in every tags

WHAT I DO
The form of the tags/ The form of the reader/ The interaction feedback

The first idea is a stamp like a Chinese name identification, the movement is quite similar when the tag touch the reader.then we thought about to use different material, sound and shape to show the distinguish of user's sense. The final idea is the processing to catch fly.Added the play level by using the different tools,swatter-newspaper-cup-gun.and we supposed to try unique sounds when you exactly touch the fly by relevant tools.

WEEK3-READING

WHAT I DO
This first week we got a task to have a outline knowledge about the tangible interaction.
The first chapter "HISTORY" =OPTIMISIM
Whatever the Nikola Tesla's or Mark Weiser's article, the future in those writers eyes are based on the electrical stuff.
The world should outside a small screen of computer and come into people's real life.In other words, ubiquitous computing is unlimited for the time or location ,they are adapt its behavior in significant ways without requiring even a hint of artificial intelligence.
'In the Bubble" advanced many concepts to remind nowadays designer to consider the environment which influenced people's everyday life. such as reduce waste, build the new relationships between human and artificial ones.
