WEEK47-Exhibition Project

Every string instead by the bubble which connect each other but have the dimensional distance.
The bubble will get clear or bigger when people play the string powerful.if no one touch it,the bubble will get smaller and shrinking slightly but still live.

Idea-
It vision lines which suppose the real string at corresponding position on the display wall at the begin.when people touch the string,there will show the movement by zoom in the kaleidoscopic image .that may help people make a sense to know where they are.

WEEK47-Exhibition Project

I am thinking if the harp can connect with the pattern maybe looks more nature. when you touch the string there are some sign show on the display wall.It maybe control with different part of the harp,like bass or alt.and the kaleidoscope image can changed depend on the diapason of harp.
Ps: It will be easy to use one camera.if we want to get more angle to cut the photo,maybe try mirror reflect to see if it work :-)

"What If..."

Part of the Cork Community Art Link 2005 "What If..." project (www.whatif.ie), a video about the interactive installation. It's all generated in real-time, mixing the audience, with some ghosty characters and visual elements.

Sliver

Sliver is a real-time installation/perform- ance in which movement of a performer is digitized and re-sampled onto an interactive screen. While the performer is in a separate room, the visitor is invited to engage with the performance interface by touching the screen in order to move a "virtual scanner". This action samples "slivers" of the performers image which are displayed and moved across a large screen, allowing the dance to both freeze in time, while reconstructing the movement phrase across a linear plane. At the same time, the performer's motion is detected and displayed in the lower part of the screen to offer hints to the visitors about the performers location and presence in the concealed space. In this installation, gaze, touch, movement and image output are coupled and deconstructed in the interface. This piece is inspired by the work of David Tinapple (http://www.davidtinapple.com/) and Steina and Woody Vasulka (http://www.vasulka.org/)

The conceptual model about Telenor online shop.
Our structure about the process for user to buy the mobile phone.they can go to choose phone,subscription,payment step by step or they can jump among some step which can help them to get a whole sense about the buying process.

Wireframes that show how it works in the visual display.
We add the top sells part for user to compare the one they desired by themselves.
the subscription and phone which users choose before will present in one screen,they can make a flexible combination in different phone and service and get the direct information about how much it will cost.

WEEK44-CROSS MEDIA STORYTELING

THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ
Our story is a old but interest fairy tale for children.Most people know that story especially main character Dorothy and her friends.
According to the research about the target group which is school age children around 5-8years old.Main media for that age children to use in normal life is TV & movies /Computers/Video games /Advertising .

So we use the Cartoon Series as the first media to get the attention from child.then build the Website that will help child to understand the context about the story,it contain the map of whole story world;dictionary to explain the meaning of symbol;audio play;leaning part to tell the background of the story or some related information.there also is a time limit game attempt for child.that will be our third media,a fantasy Game which played in play station .

It was obviously that the film will put more active for the consumer.Change the rule and play different status of the film even made various ending are all freedom to give users to choose.
The classical storytelling are based on a image shaped like whale.the story plot normally follow the ridge of the whale,get the upsurge steadily then fall rapidly to finish.To obtain the emotion by actor .sound.everything can recall the view's mood and creating an atmosphere where people are more likely to believe in their players.

Ways of interactive storytelling:

Quicksilver allows users to use the keyboard to rapidly perform tasks such as lanuching application,running scripts or sending e-mail Although it is a complex application, it is centered around a very simple three-panel interface, called the "command window": the user performs complex tasks using simple, configurable key-combinations.
It has one very important effect: the effort of frequent tasks fades into the background and you are able to act without thinking. After an adaptation period, Quicksilver becomes an extension of yourself; the process fades away leaving only the results.
That base on Chinese philosophy Wei Wu Wei action that is non-action.

WEEK40-Game Finish

Last week was a happy week.Because we have game to play.but to make the image move or under your control are hard work for me and Natacha who has no sense about the code,so we did the image and sound parts of the game.Thanks to Kunt ,he made the program worked perfect.

The point of our idea is make the screen looks like the ground ,when you don't work with the computer in long time,the moss will grow from every side of the screen. When they met each other get three,then they will born a new one or when they moved more than four together ,one will died.

Sociology Lecture---Our Society are composed by many elements, education, religion,family...and so on.Due to the generation gap of different age,distance of inhabitation and TV effect ,the interrelation among people are changed.but as a society technology,mobile phone bring the social group together.people can join different group to talk different topic and play the role correspond in that environment.

WHAT I DO
Alterable language input---To adjust language otherness in status change(Ingrid,Natacha&me)
People need to transformed their status when they join different group,You can not talk your mom ,close friends or someone not familiar with same tone even words when you wrote SMS .but if you want to play well in every circle,same locution is an important factor.so we think about something like a dictionary which can balance the differ in
detail or some diction suggestion when you input the letters in mobile phone.

WEEK34-Paperprototying

As a Chinese , my way of thinking are usually irregularly and emanative.but west mind are more systemic like structure tree which continued step by step.I can think about many ideas but lack the ability to make idea deeply :-(

I never use coffee machine before,that is a bit hard for me.In my opinion,maybe to show how is the machine work is good point to satisfy people's curious. You can see how much beans added and choose as much as sugar by your habit. It gives user trusty sense for machine made.




WEEK34-Lightbulb

My first week in AHO.It is more harder than i expected before. Someone asked me why choose Norway, i said because there are free for study and more important that i need an experience which fill of challenge.
Most Chinese not be good at expression not only poor English but also we used to put that process in our mind and condensed them maybe one sentence. Sometimes it just like feel by sense and not explain in words.I like to hear others excited comments

Light bulb ---The more you give the more you get (Martin &me)

It focus on the behavior of user controlling the light,water like a mutative switch,more water more light,if the water dry there is no light.You can imagine the bulb to a life which need to care. and it will gives you feedback if you pay attention to it.
